Alan Plachta e Ismael Grossman son dos de los guitarristas más activos en la escena musical de Buenos Aires.
Ambos guitarristas versátiles y compositores y arregladores. Con origen en el mundo del Jazz, han ampliado sus horizontes hacia el Tango y la música folklórica argentina.
Con larga trayectoria como instrumentistas al servicio de diversos proyectos, decidieron unir fuerzas para un proyecto conjunto, en el cual la guitarra es la protagonista.
El dúo interpreta composiciones originales. Obras escritas exclusivamente para esta formación. Guitarra de 6 y de 7 cuerdas. La improvisación tiene su lugar dentro de la música, mas no encarada desde el enfoque jazzístico sino desde la búsqueda textural, tímbrica y conceptual.
Ismael Grossman lleva editados 2 discos de sus propias composiciones (Confluencia 2005-Cosas 2014) En formación de trío y en guitarra solista. Con este último material para guitarra solista se consolida como uno de los referentes del instrumento, participando –entre otros- en el festival Guitarras de Mundo. Es el guitarrista del reconocido quinteto de Diego Schissi, junto a Guillermo Rubino, Santiago Segret y Juan Pablo Navarro. Ha realizado colaboraciones, grabaciones y giras con artistas argentinos e internacionales.
Alan Plachta cuenta con 4 ediciones de sus propias creaciones musicales (De todas las tardes 2005, Lúdico 2007, Colectivo Argentino Uruguayo 2011y Un viaje 2016 –en colaboración con Richard Nant-). De estos diversos proyectos participan músicos de la talla de Luis Perdomo, Guillermo Klein, Hugo Fattoruso, Satoshi Takeishi, Pipi Piazzolla y Liliana Herrero, entre otros. Integra el grupo Tatadios y el cuarteto Ingrid. Como arreglador ha colaborado con Daniela Horovitz, Orquesta Sudamericana, Boris Big Band y Lucho Guedes, entre otros. Internacionalmente comparte o compartió proyectos o conciertos con Alexandre Ribeiro, Ana Luiza y Luis Felipe Gama, Robert Vincs, Nicolás Ospina, Samantha Navarro, Jason Yeager, Roberto Taufic, Alex & Nilusha, entre otros.
El dúo mantiene una constante actividad de conciertos y planea la grabación de su primer trabajo discográfico para fines de 2016

Alan Plachta and Ismael Grossman are two of the busiest guitarists in the music scene of Buenos Aires.
Both versatile guitarists and composers and arrangers. Arising in the world of Jazz, they have expanded their horizons to the Tango and Argentina folk music.
With long experience as instrumentalists serving various projects, they decided to join forces for a joint project, in which the guitar is the protagonist.
The duo plays original compositions which are written exclusively for this project: 6 and 7 strings Guitar.
Improvisation has its place in music, not approached from the jazz tradition but from the textural, timbre and conceptual research.
Ismael Grossman takes published two albums of his own compositions (Confluence 2005-Things 2014) in trio and solo guitar. With this last material for solo guitar he has become one of the leaders of the instrument, among others participating in the festival Guitarras de Mundo. He is the guitarist in the well-know Diego Schissi Quinteto, with Guillermo Rubino, Santiago Segret and Juan Pablo Navarro, also collaborating, recording and touring with Argentine and international artists.
